"I feel that I give thanks everyday anyway, for the small things in life, because of what I've been through," said Dave Dayon. Dayton , 29, was born without a pulmonary valve and after three open heart surgeries, the first when he was 8-days-old, it made him realize, "There is always something you can be thankful for, whether it's a friend, your dog or your fish...When things arent going well, sometimes you have to dig in, but you can always find something (to be thankful for)." Dayton is the founder of the band Kuma, who is no longer together, and he is planning to start massage school in the spring.
